Telltale Games recently shared some news, about the awaited follow up, The Wolf Among Us 2 by unveiling new screenshots featuring the main character, Bigby Wolf in action. These images were released as part of the studios 20th anniversary celebration sparking renewed enthusiasm among fans who have been eagerly anticipating the return of this character since the games debut in 2013.
The showcased screenshots capture Bigby Wolf in scenarios providing a glimpse into the games development progress and hinting at storylines that players can look forward to. In one image we see the contemplative Big Bad Wolf standing outdoors on a day while another shows him examining an object within a room. These sneak peeks into The Wolf Among Us 2 have sparked speculation among fans, about what adventures and obstacles Bigby will encounter in this sequel.
The Long Road to The Wolf Among Us 2
The release of The Wolf Among Us 2 has faced delays since it was first announced in 2017 following the closure of the Telltale Games studio, in 2018. However there was a resurgence in the games development in 2019 when LCG Entertainment took over the name and some of its properties. Despite a trailer unveiled in 2022 the games debut was postponed from 2023 to 2024 leaving fans for updates on its progress.
Recent screenshots offer reassurance that The Wolf Among Us 2 is actively being worked on and the collaboration between the creators of the game and the new Telltale Games team has sparked hope that the sequel will meet the standards set by its predecessor.
