Starry Studio, the developer of NetEase’s free-to-play survival horror game, Once Human, has admitted that player feedback on the Once Human Season 2 has been ‘quite demoralising.’ The team added a message on its Discord trying to encourage the players and assuring that the team will stick to use feedbacks as lessons to improve the game and meet the expectation of the players in the next updates.
The team discussed two problems stated by the players since the release of Once Human Season 2: weapon builds and scenario tags. Few players commented in the forum that the weapon builds were not well thought of and others argued that there were no high-difficulty scenario tags.
Starry Studio’s Plan of Action
Regarding the weapon build concerns, the Starry Studio is working on the new blueprint conversion feature that will let players swap the armour and weapon ratings in order to have a more satisfying loadout. This change is to make it possible for players to have a flexible gameplay towards the Once Human Season 2 game.
The scenario tags are better understood by the studio and the studio acknowledges that more effort is needed to come up with a good solution. For this reason, they are asking gamers to fill a survey so that the company can have an idea of what the community wants from the next Once Human Season 2. Aiming to get more feedback from players, Starry Studio intends to make some decisions to enhance the game entertaining experience for players who dedicated their time to games.
