Adobe has just introduced an update, to Photoshop with a focus on integrating Generative AI and introducing new tools. This update represents a milestone for Adobes leading photo editing software as it fully embraces the potential of intelligence to streamline workflows and enhance creative possibilities. The highlight of this update is the launch of Generative AI capabilities, which were previously in testing.
The new “Generate Image” feature, based on Adobes Firefly Image 3 Model enables users to create images from text prompts. This Generative AI tool provides controls, such, as content type and style effects allowing users to customize their creations. Adobe underscores its dedication to transparency and prioritizing creators by ensuring that Firefly is trained on public domain content.
New Tools and Enhancements
The latest Photoshop update not integrates Generative AI. Also introduces two new tools; the selection brush tool, for easier image selection and the adjustment brush tool for direct adjustments on photos. These tools aim to enhance the editing experience by making it more intuitive and efficient.
Additionally the update includes enhancements to the type tool with support for bullets and numbering as improvements to the contextual task bar for quicker access to popular settings.
