Apple Aims for Thinnest, Lightest iPhone Design in 2025

Apple sets sights on creating the thinnest and lightest iPhone yet for the iPhone 17 line in 2025.

Apple is aiming to make the thinnest and lightest iPhone, as per a report by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. The company is working towards designing a phone for the upcoming iPhone 17 series, expected to be launched in 2025. This decision follows the introduction of the thin iPad Pro earlier this year.

The released iPad Pro in April showcased Apples commitment to producing products that’re exceptionally thin and lightweight in their respective categories. Despite its design the device managed to maintain a battery life setting a new benchmark for forthcoming Apple devices, like iPhones, laptops and watches.

A New Era of Thin Devices

Gurman points out that Apple has successfully made the sleek iPad Pro thinner while still adding features showing their ability to innovate. This is quite impressive especially since new features usually demand power often resulting in devices, with larger batteries.

It’s important to be patient as the ultra thin iPhone design isn’t expected until the iPhone 17 series, in 2025. In the meantime users can anticipate the iPhone 15 lineup, which’s likely to maintain a similar thickness to its predecessors while possibly offering better battery life.
