Capcom has just announced that Street Fighter 6 will be undergoing some server maintenance on Tuesday night June 25th to get ready, for the anticipated M. Bison update. The maintenance is set to kick off at 8 p.m. PT / 11 p.m. ET. Is estimated to run for four hours until midnight PT / 3 a.m. ET.
During this maintenance window players won’t be able to access any features in Street Fighter 6 such as matchmaking, the Capcom Fighter Network, in game shop, rewards and more. However players can still expect the update itself to be up for grabs, for download even while the servers are down so they can gear up for the content coming their way.
M. Bison and Quality of Life Improvements
The next update, for Street Fighter 6 is set to feature M. Bison as the DLC character of Season 2. Despite grappling with memory loss the notorious dictator will bring a blend of traditional moves to the game injecting an energy into the lineup.
Apart from M. Bison, the update will also introduce quality of life enhancements aimed at enriching the gaming experience. These improvements include tweaks to the health bar, which will now illuminate when a Critical Art move is ready along with modifications, to the Drive Gauge display. Players can also look forward to a shortcut that enables them to jump into Training Mode from the main menu saving precious time. Additionally Replays, match configurations and notifications are slated to receive user updates for accessibility and convenience.
