Samsung Confirms Galaxy Watch Ultra Branding for New Flagship

Samsung's upcoming premium smartwatch will be called the Galaxy Watch Ultra, as confirmed by the company's website.

Samsung is getting ready to introduce its Ultra smartwatch, which will launch alongside the regular Galaxy Watch 7 series. There was some uncertainty regarding whether the company would go with the “Galaxy Watch Ultra” or Galaxy Watch 7 naming convention but Samsung has now clarified that.

The name Galaxy Watch Ultra briefly appeared on Samsungs website confirming the branding, for the high end smartwatch. The listing, which has since been taken down mentioned the Galaxy Watch Ultra. Highlighted its 47mm case size and LTE connectivity. This indicates that the Galaxy Watch Ultra will have a case size to the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic and is likely to feature a titanium frame.

While no additional details about the Galaxy Watch Ultra were provided on the website previous leaks and reports have given us insights, into what we can anticipate from this device. It is rumored that the smartwatch will be powered by a cutting edge 3nm 5 core Exynos processor come with 32GB of storage and boast a 590mAh battery capacity. Additionally it is expected to have a water resistance rating of 10ATM and be equipped with three buttons.

These updates include personalized health tips powered by Galaxy AI fresh watch faces the Energy Level function, detailed sleep tracking, Workout Routines, a pinch gesture, for navigation, quicker horizontal scrolling and expanded options in the Modes & Routines app.

Moreover One UI 6 Watch brings emojis the ability to save images attached to messages a new default font selection and an improved Power Saving mode. Connecting to paired earbuds has also been streamlined when the smartwatch is activated and within range.

Samsungs goal with the Galaxy Watch Ultra is to provide users with a smartwatch experience featuring cutting edge functionalities and superior craftsmanship. Speculations suggest that this advanced smartwatch may come with a price tag of $700 positioning it as a contender among other high end smartwatches available, in the market.
