Konami has put an end to the rumors regarding Metal Gear Solid 4’s inclusion in the upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. OK Konami director Noriaki Okamura recently teased that the game could in fact be one of those titles to expect with future details on this collection. Konami released Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. last year.
Which included MGS2 and 3 along with new set of controls for later consoles to cope up much better than their original counterparts against the challenging control system they depict at present time after being played retrospectively from today’s viewpoint. It was a part of the Metal Gear Solid: Essential Collection that also came had all three mainline MGS games on PlayStation 2. But fans have been crawling over the Konami site and files of the first volume looking for hints that a second would follow it, completing storylines from Metal Gear Solid 4,5, and Peace Walker.

Replying to a question on the prospect of reviving Metal Gear Solid 4 for current generation consoles, Okamura noted “We definitely are aware of this situation with MGS4. But stay tuned!” Konami has yet to offer confirmation of what exactly will be included but Metal Gear Solid 4 does appear set to form part of the package under the name Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. While the upcoming remake, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is now a focus of the company and ensure fans that they can count on what lies ahead for this fan favorite franchise.
