Humble Games Lays Off All Staff Amid Restructuring

Humble Games, the renowned indie game publisher, has laid off its entire staff as part of a restructuring process.

In a twist of events Humble Games, the regarded indie game publisher known for popular titles, like Unpacking and Slay the Spire has reportedly let go of all 36 of its employees. The information was revealed through posts on LinkedIn by affected employees who shared their experiences and expressed their disbelief at the turn of events.

Former business development manager at Humble Games Nicola Kwan mentioned that all employees were notified of their termination at 9 AM with the company stating that it was closing down. Brandon Boswell, a release manager also confirmed the news by indicating that every staff member, at Humble Games had been affected by the layoffs.

Artist Chris Radley insists that it’s not a restructuring but a complete shutdown of Humble Games with operations now being managed by a consultancy and no existing staff.

The official statement released by Humble Games, which some suspect might have been AI generated acknowledges the challenges of the decision. Expresses sympathy for the team members.
