Excitise yourself for getting lost in a number of otherworldly experiences as Moonless Moon, the text-based game with gorgeous artwork, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on September 19. Designed and directed by Kazuhide Oka and released by KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and Yokaze, Moonless Moon is an RPG that will immerse the players into different latent dream worlds.
In Moonless Moon, the protagonist is Yomichi, a high school girl with a normal life the moment she enters worlds other people are unfamiliar with each time the moon become invisible in the sky. Yomichi is a wanderer who goes through a lunar desert to a floating sky-bound island seeking to make friends and get to the bottom of the mystery that shrouded her existence. In the course of the game, the players will be provided with intellectually stimulating moments regarding the reality issue together with Yomichi’s two lives.
Unraveling the Mysteries of Moonless Moon
It will be proper to note that in principle, game is very similar to other quests, however, story of Moonless Moon seems to be more diverse and inventive. It contains ‘riddle’ – parts, in which the player has to find keywords in the text and insert them into the story. In addition, these puzzles are very intuitive and make the participant in the game an active part of Yomichi’s investigation.
Apart from well-developed plot, Moonless Moon has created impressive graphics and soundtrack. The game includes new songs with animated music videos which makes the players immerse in the game and its surrealistic setting.
