Dead Cells Receives Final Update, Ending 7-Year Journey

Dead Cells receives its final major update after 7 years.

Motion Twin and Evil Empire have just unveiled the update, for their popular roguelite game, Dead Cells after a seven year journey of development. Known as “The End’s Near ” this update introduces gameplay elements, enhancements for accessibility and new content to ensure players have a fulfilling gaming experience.

This update further explores the curse feature by adding three enemies, weapons and mutations. Players can now encounter Cursed Biomes that offer rewards in exchange for facing cursed foes. Moreover the update includes attributes, over 40 new character customization options and revamped pathways, between levels.

This includes improvements like to read text options to change player and camera movement styles and a better auto hit assist feature.
