Warzone Mobile Launch Delayed to Spring 2024

Warzone Mobile Launch postponed to spring 2024.

In a turn of events that might disappoint many fans, the Warzone Mobile Launch has been pushed back. Activision initially revealed that Call of Duty; Warzone Mobile would be released in 2022 after the availability of Call of Duty; Modern Warfare II. However a recent trailer, from the company now confirms that the game will be introduced in the spring of 2024.

Although an exact release date is still undisclosed fans can already secure their place by pre ordering the game on platforms such as Google Play and the App Store. The mobile version promises a battle royale experience accommodating up to 120 players on a map.

 It will include features from Warzone like operators, weapons, combat styles and locations. Moreover players will have shared Battle Pass benefits. Will be able to carry over progress, between Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0.

Interestingly, while the global Warzone Mobile Launch is slated for 2024, players from select countries, including Australia, Chile, Norway, and Sweden, have had the privilege of experiencing the game since earlier this year.

Activisions approach of a ” release” enables them to expand their testing coverage beyond the Closed Alpha phase. This approach helps them identify and fix any bugs optimize stress tests, for matches and gather feedback, on gameplay and other aspects of the game.

In tandem with the revised Warzone Mobile Launch timeline, Activision has also unveiled that players will have immediate access to the Rebirth Island from the get-go. This liked Resurgence mode map is now available, on devices and it has been carefully crafted specifically for this version.

For those who are eagerly anticipating Modern Warfare III there’s some news well. Raven Software during the COD Next event confirmed that they will be bringing back the slide cancel mechanic, which was noticeably absent, in Modern Warfare II. However it’s important to mention that although this mechanic is making a comeback it will no longer reset the Tactical Sprint.

The Warzone Mobile Launch delay might be a tad disheartening for fans, but it’s evident that Activision is committed to delivering a polished and optimized gaming experience.
