Valorant to Nerf Escapes in the Next Patch!

Riot Games has announced that with the 6.11 patch for Valorant, they will be making it more challenging to aim accurately while running.

Riot Games has announced that with the upcoming 6.11 patch for Valorant, the effectiveness of weapons while running will be reduced. In a statement on Twitter, Valorant representative “Mike” mentioned that the likelihood of bullets hitting the exact center of your valorant crosshair while in motion will now be significantly lower. This change aims to make it more challenging to hit opponents while moving at high speeds. You can find the tweet here.

It is currently unknown if any specific nerfs will be applied to individual weapons in this patch. However, it seems that this adjustment may have an impact on players who heavily rely on fast-moving characters and are accustomed to consistently securing kills while on the run. Riot believes that allowing players to easily fire accurately while running can create an unfair competitive advantage.

Taking player feedback into account, they are addressing this issue and continuing their efforts to create a more balanced game. Particularly, weapons like the Judge, which can deal high damage without requiring precise aiming while on the move, will receive significant nerfs.

Riot has acknowledged that Valorant players have expressed frustration with individuals who constantly run and gun with characters like Neon or Jett, using the Judge to rack up consecutive kills. To address this, they have decided to take action. It is currently unknown if there will be any specific updates for shotguns, but making it more difficult to aim while running should help mitigate this issue. Shotguns, in general, do not require precise aiming and are considered powerful weapons, so any adjustments to them may decrease their popularity and potentially impact the overall gameplay experience for players.
