Xbox Game Studios and Stoic have revealed the news that their new action adventure game, Towerborne is set to debut in Access, on PC through Steam on September 10. The game unfolds in a world where humanity seeks shelter in The Belfry amid ruins and creatures casting players into the role of an Ace – a revived spirit entrusted with safeguarding the towers residents. Towerborne will offer both cooperative gameplay for up to four participants allowing Aces to enlist Umbra companions to assist them in combat.
The Early Access premiere of Towerborne on PC marks the start with plans for a launch on Xbox Series and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store by 2025. Following its release Towerborne will also be accessible through Xbox Game Pass ensuring access, for a diverse audience of players.
Customization and Evolving Content in Towerborne
Towerborne stands out for its focus, on giving players the freedom to make choices and personalize their character. Gamers will have the opportunity to design their Ace with a variety of options for appearance, equipment and weapons. The game presents four weapon styles; War Clubs, Gauntlets, Dual Daggers and Swords & Shields each equipped with its special moves. By mixing and matching these components players can customize their Ace to match their gameplay style.
Towerborne is committed to keeping players interested with a world map and seasonal content. As The Belfrys narrative unfolds, new foes, territories, abilities and lore will be introduced to ensure that Aces always encounter challenges and uncharted territories.
