Radical Fish Games, the team, behind the praised CrossCode has recently revealed their project; Alabaster Dawn, an action RPG slated for release on both consoles and PC. The game is set to offer a combat system, puzzles and an engaging storyline within a captivating world ripe, for exploration.
In Alabaster Dawn players assume the role of Juno, the Outcast Chosen, who emerges into a realm twisted by the presence of Nyxs shadow. Entrusted with the task of reviving the lost gods and their followers Juno must traverse through the remnants of Tiran Sol, a world brimming with enigmas and trials. With an estimated gameplay duration of 30 to 60 hours planned out across seven regions for players to uncover and restore.
Combat and Exploration
The combat system, in Alabaster Dawn takes inspiration from games like Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts and CrossCode. Players can control four elements. Wield eight weapons leading to dynamic and fast paced battles. Additionally the game includes a skill tree for each weapon allowing players to unlock Combat Arts and use Divine Arts to cast powerful spells on their enemies.
Exploration is an aspect of Alabaster Dawn, where players solve puzzles traverse hidden paths through parkour. Gather resources to aid them on their journey. The game provides customization systems for the character, such as embedding gems, in weapons and cores to activate enchantments expanding gem slots through the skill tree and improving healing abilities through a special cooking mechanic.
