Universal Orlando has revealed plans to bring the legendary worlds of Nintendo to life like never before with the debut of Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe. This immersive land will transport guests to the iconic worlds of Super Mario and Donkey Kong through innovative attractions, experiences, shopping and dining.
When guests first enter through the mysterious warp pipes, they’ll emerge into a vibrant landscape filled with sights and sounds directly from the classic Nintendo games. Towers like Peach’s Castle and Mt. Beanpole will overlook lands featuring friends both new and familiar. Guests can explore the Mushroom Kingdom alongside Mario or venture into the jungles of Donkey Kong Country.
A Universe of Nintendo Adventures
The first phase will include two major attractions. Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge will allow groups to hop into go-karts and do battle through courses inspired by the hit racing games. Seeking adventure, guests can board Yoshi for a colorful egg-collecting journey high above familiar lands. Entertainment and shopping areas will invite guests to stock up on power-ups before meeting their favorite characters.
With an emphasis on innovative storytelling and interactive gameplay, Super Nintendo World is set to be Epic Universe’s most immersive world yet. Fusing cutting-edge technologies with beloved Nintendo properties, it will allow guests of all ages to play, explore and compete through the eyes of iconic characters. This one-of-a-kind project is just the beginning of bringing the legendary worlds of Nintendo to dynamic new life within Universal’s epic new resort.
