Balatro Goes Physical on Consoles, Includes Bonus Cards

Despite all the buzz, about the games launch localthunk seems a bit let down by the PEGI 18 rating. During a Q&A on Reddit the developer talked about this rating issue mentioning that while there might be some room for interpretation they feel that it’s undeserved compared to games featuring actual gambling elements that managed to avoid such a classification based on their appearance or theme.

The physical release of Balatro aims to introduce the games gameplay to an audience offering players a hands on experience with its clever mix of poker and roguelike features. With bonus cards included and the games continued success Balatros launch in form is expected to be popular among both existing fans and newcomers further cementing its status as a standout title, in the gaming industry.
