Snapchat’s iPad App: Room for Improvement
The addition of an iPad app is a step forward, for Snapchat but there are a few areas that could use some polishing. Currently the app is limited to portrait mode without support for landscape orientation. Some users have noticed some glitches in the iPad interface with this release.
Despite these issues the debut of the iPad app is a positive development, for Snapchat as it seeks to improve user engagement and broaden its audience. This year the company rolled out AI powered features like conversing with “My AI” in direct messages to set reminders or start countdowns, as well as creating Bitmoji avatars using AI technology.
