World of Warcraft Explores Single-Player “Story Mode” Raids

World of Warcraft may soon offer solo "story mode" versions of legacy raids.

Blizzard Entertainment, the creators of the MMORPG World of Warcraft are considering making a change, to how raids work in the game. In an interview Morgan Day, who is a game director suggested that they might add single player “story mode” versions of classic raids. This would allow more players to enjoy the games content.

The inspiration for this idea came from the response, to “Chromie Time ” a feature introduced in the Shadowlands expansion that lets players revisit expansions as they level up. Day mentioned that their team is looking into expanding on this idea by letting players finish their Wrath of the Lich King Chromie Time journey by taking down Arthas in a solo adventure.
