Warhammer’s Skulls event, like in previous years, showcases the upcoming Warhammer games. This year’s event featured several new Warhammer games, including TRS Realms of Ruin. Unlike previous years, this year’s event also comes with a gift for Warhammer fans. You can now download the nostalgic and classic strategy game Final Liberation, which was popular in the 90s.
Additionally, Epic Games is offering it for free until May 28th. You can also add the 4X strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War to your library for free on Steam until June 1st.
Final Liberation was one of the beloved strategy games of its time. Released in 1997, it offered an immersive experience with epic orc armies and enjoyable cutscenes. Despite being popular at the time, it lacked any updates or improvements, which led to some players becoming disenchanted with the game.
Gladius, released in 2018, received slightly above-average reviews from critics and didn’t resonate well with strategy players. The main criticism was its sluggish pace, with even fast-paced areas progressing slowly. While updates were expected to address these issues, the game has not received any updates yet. However, it is still believed that updates could potentially fix the game and improve its overall rating.
