Playtonic Friends and Skydevilpalm recently revealed that their arcade racing game, Victory Heat Rally is set to debut, on PC via Steam and iOS and Android through Crunchyroll Game Vault on October 3. Inspired by classic arcade racers such as Power Drift, Out Run and Ridge Racer the game promises an exhilarating racing experience with a twist.
Although the original plan was to launch Victory Heat Rally across all platforms unexpected challenges during development have caused a delay for the Nintendo Switch version. Nevertheless Playtonic Friends has reassured fans that the Switch release is not off and more updates will be coming soon. While there were intentions to bring the game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One through a Kickstarter campaign Playtonic Friends has clarified that those versions are currently not, in the works.
Key Features of Victory Heat Rally
Victory Heat Rally offers a range of features, for fans of arcade racing. Players have the option to select from 12 top notch drivers and their unique cars each showcasing its style and performance capabilities. The game includes a single player championship mode, paced Arcade Grand Prix races and the chance to compete against friends in split screen multiplayer mode for up to three players. Additionally there is a time trial mode for those aiming to set records.
Featuring stages spread across 12 environments ranging from sunny Baytona Beach to icy Frostbite Harbor players can personalize their vehicles with interchangeable performance parts and custom paint jobs to reflect their individual flair as they race through the tracks. With its pixelated graphics, dynamic 2.5D world design and an electrifying soundtrack filled with pulsating beats and fiery guitar solos Victory Heat Rally is set to become a go to choice for arcade racing enthusiasts upon its release on PC and mobile platforms, on October 3rd.
