Supermassive Games popular horror game, Until Dawn is set to return on PC and PlayStation 5 on October 4th in time, for the season. Originally launched on PS4 in 2015 the game is undergoing a revamp using Unreal Engine 5 promising visuals, enhanced gameplay mechanics and a revamped prologue.
The remastered version of Until Dawn showcases revamped character models, environments and objects along with a lighting system that incorporates raytracing to create an immersive and atmospheric horror experience. Additionally players will have access, to a camera control feature that allows them to explore the game world from perspectives and highlight pivotal moments in the narrative.
Narrative Enhancements and Accessibility
The main storyline of Until Dawn remains the same. The beginning has been changed to make it more engaging and give focus to the Washington family aiming to make players feel more connected right, from the start. The updated version also includes hidden items for players to find as they progress through the game.
This edition of Until Dawn includes features that make it easier for a wider range of people to play and enjoy the captivating story while making choices that affect the characters destinies. Pre orders will begin on August 21st. Fans of horror can look forward to experiencing the world of Until Dawn once again when the game launches on October 4th.
