Attention, wizards! Soon you can gather your friends, or up to three of them at least, and fight monsters with The Spell Brigade, a multiplayer cooperative game conceived by Belgian indie studio Bolt Blaster Games. This self-described “hectic bullet-heaven” title is set to cast its spell on players when it launches in Steam Early Access on September 16th.
The game of The Spell Brigade consists in team cooperation in various randomly generated tasks in order to defeat enemies and survive different waves. The catch? Friendly fire is always active all the time, you never know where you’re aiming that spell at! As part of the effort to stay alive, players can enhance their spells with elements and better versions of them, rescue downed allies in a highly destructive manner, and, in general, take advantage of various synergies of characters and spells to bring about “pure unhinged chaos.”
Early Access Plans: More Magic, More Mayhem
As a game that’s set to go through eight months of Early Access, more spells are expected to join the arsenal of The Spell Brigade shortly. More characters, spells, maps and enemies shall be developed by Bolt Blaster Games, in an attempt to offer a new and dynamic face to the magical battle eminent among fans.
Complementing the title with such a gameplay as fast as possible to look like Heaven for fans, filled by numerous bullets and spells, the focus on cooperation in a group (and periodicAI firing at friends), The Spell Brigade set itself a goal to provide intense chaos for those who love it. Wait for this charming title to show up on Steam Early Access on September 16th and be ready to immerse in the ranks of one of the wackiest wizard crews that needed to exist ever!
