Respawn had two goals for Storm Point in Apex Legends Season 19; introducing Points of Interest (POIs) and optimizing the map size. This was done to enhance the gameplay experience. Key areas like the Forbidden Zone and Lightning Rod have been redesigned to align with this seasons theme.
Wattsons Pylon is a standout feature this season. Following the storm Suotamo city suffered a power outage. In collaboration with the Syndicate Wattson introduced Wattsons Pylon as a POI. Its addition promises early game battles thanks to a Gravity Cannon that propels players into the revamped Forbidden Zone.

For those enough there’s an opportunity to take a sneak peek, inside Wattsons room. The Echo HQ, an evolution of the ECHO structures now replaces the Gale Station. It offers space inside. Has surrounding tunnels that create strategic gameplay opportunities.
Coastal Camp is another highlight. In line with Respawn’s strategy for Storm Point in Apex Legends Season 19, the coastline has been reshaped. The shoreline is now filled with debris from the remnants of the fallen ship seamlessly merging with Wattsons Pylon and Echo HQ. As its name suggests the Devastated Coast shows signs of the storms devastation. The landscape is dotted with ruins of Fish Farms. There is a building suspended by a crane that offers a viewpoint.
There are additions called Zeus Station and Ceto Station, with the latter replacing Prowler Island. Both the Forbidden Zone and Lightning Rod have undergone transformations.
