The biggest headline is destructible environments, which will allow new strategic possibilities by way of destruction. While not on the scale of leveling full buildings, select “sections” of the map can now be broken apart with tools or explosives. Further destruction improvements are planned after an initial April release focused on digging holes in the environment.

With over 3 million cheating accounts banned in 2023, stringent anti-cheat efforts also continue to ensure the PUBG experience remains fair and fun.
