Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake in the Concept Phase

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time Remake announced to be delayed indefinitely.

A new development has been announced regarding the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake, which Ubisoft planned to release in 2021 but has been continuously delayed due to issues, with no news about its new release date or its current production status. During a Q&A session held on Wednesday, it was revealed that the Sands of Time remake is currently in the concept phase.

Fans were disappointed when Ubisoft’s official Twitter account announced that the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake would not be featured at the Ubisoft Forward event scheduled for June. However, the announcement continued, stating, “Don’t worry, it’s still happening. We’re just still in the early stages of design.”

Jean-Francois Naud, in an interview, stated, “We’re not in the development phase yet; we’re currently in the concept phase. We’re taking into account the feedback we received from these fans since taking over the project, and we’re charting our course accordingly. We’re currently assembling a talented team and preparing all the prototypes for the project to be released in the best possible way. We’re aware that we’ve experienced more delays than expected, but rest assured, this project is very important to us, and we’ll work on it with all our hearts.”

No release date has been announced for the game, and Ubisoft has canceled all existing pre-orders. They initially made their first announcements in 2020, stating their plan to release the game in the following year. However, after encountering issues, Ubisoft announced an indefinite delay for the game. Hearing that they are once again working on it was a source of great joy for the fans, as it was the first announcement made since that day.
