Kodansha, a known publishing company, from Japan has introduced the Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild, a project focused on collaborating with independent game developers to produce and release PC games inspired by Hiro Mashimas popular manga series. This exciting venture aims to offer immersive gaming experiences for fans of Fairy Tail around the world.
The Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild has revealed its two game titles, both slated for release on Steam in seven languages including Japanese, English, French, Korean, Thai, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. The first game titled “Fairy Tail; Dungeons” is scheduled to debut on either August 26 or 27 in 2024 depending on the region. In this rogue lite game players will have the opportunity to collect cards featuring character attacks from the series and construct decks to combat monsters, in dungeons.
Expanding the Fairy Tail Gaming Universe
The next game, on the list is called Fairy Tail; Beach Volleyball Havoc, a sports game where characters from the series play magical beach volleyball matches. Its set to come out on either September 16th or 17th 2024. Additionally there’s a hint about another game titled Fairy Tail; Birth of Magic which will be a game with its own magic system.
These new indie games will add to the existing Fairy Tail gaming lineup, which already includes a RPG made by Koei Tecmos Gust studio for PC and consoles along, with a sequel expected to launch in Winter 2024. The establishment of the Fairy Tail Indie Game Guild means that fans can anticipate a variety of gaming experiences that will let them delve deeper into the world of Fairy Tail.
