Many believed HTC had exited the smartphone market. They have recently unveiled their mid range Android phone, the HTC U24 Pro. Despite perceptions that HTC was no longer, in the smartphone game the company has quietly been introducing range devices in recent years.
The HTC U24 Pro runs on Qualcomms Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, paired with either 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. Additionally it includes a microSD card slot, for expanding storage capacity a feature that is becoming less common in todays smartphones.
Display, Battery, and Camera Specs

The HTC U24 Pro showcases a 6.8 inch OLED screen featuring a unique notification LED placed at the top bezel. With a 4,600 mAh battery that supports 60W wired charging and 15W wireless charging this phone ensures power management. It also retains the sought after 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature becoming rare in smartphones.
In terms of photography the HTC U24 Pro boasts a triple camera setup, on the back – comprising a 50MP sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a high quality 50MP telephoto camera. Selfie enthusiasts will appreciate the facing 50MP camera integrated into the display. This device is designed to be IP67 water resistant. Is available in two color choices; “Twilight White” and “Space Blue.” While currently on pre sale in Taiwan its global availability remains uncertain, for now.
