Honor 200 Series: AI-Powered Smartphones Unveiled

Honor 200 series debuts with advanced AI and impressive specs.

Honor has recently unveiled its smartphones, the Honor 200 series highlighting the companys emphasis, on intelligence (AI). The Honor 200 and 200 Pro stand out as the devices to showcase Honors AI architecture design and come pre installed with the companys customized Android 14 interface, MagicOS 8.0.

The Honor 200 series offers specifications with the contrast between the two models lying in their processors. The Honor 200 runs on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset while the 200 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Both phones feature 6.7 inch OLED screens with a seamless refresh rate of 120Hz and house large capacity batteries of up to 5,200 mAh that support rapid charging at speeds of, up to100W through wired connections.

Camera and Pricing Details

When it comes to the camera features the Honor 200 series smartphones come with a camera setup, each, with different sensors. The Honor 200 model boasts a sensor from Sony IMX906 with 50 megapixels while the 200 Pro model uses the OmniVision OV50H. Both phones also include a telephoto camera with zoom and OIS at 50 megapixels, an ultra wide lens at 12 megapixels and a front facing camera for selfies at 50 megapixels.

The Honor 200 and 200 Pro will hit the market on May 31st with the Honor 200 priced between $370 to $440 based on storage options. The Honor 200 Pro is expected to cost between $485 and $620. These phones will be available in blue, pink and white color variants. While a global release is scheduled for June 12th details regarding pricing and availability, in regions are yet to be disclosed.
