Grand Theft Auto Online Casino Heists Disabled Due to Exploit

Grand Theft Auto Online casino heists have been temporarily disabled on PC due to a vulnerability.

Players of Grand Theft Auto Online, on PC are currently encountering a hurdle as the popular casino heists have been temporarily put on hold. Rockstar Games, the developer behind the game series shared the news through their official Twitter handle mentioning a “vulnerability” as the cause for suddenly disabling this feature.

The casino heists in Grand Theft Auto Online, introduced in December 2019 have been an activity among fans providing an complex experience with various possibilities and challenges. However while waiting for the issue to be fixed PC players won’t be able to acquire the arcade property, for initiating heists. Additionally those who already possess the property will find themselves unable to kick off any casino heist or arcade setup missions.

Rockstar Games has not given a timeline, for when the Grand Theft Auto Online casino heists will return to PC. The company is currently working on a long term solution for an issue to ensure the safety and security of its players. Meanwhile the development team is dedicated to the summer update, which is set to introduce a range of features to the game. These include a bounty hunting business, story missions revolving around Vincent Effenburger and the option to design custom drag and drift races using the content creator.

This isn’t the time Grand Theft Auto Online has faced challenges with its casino heists. Around a year, after their launch players discovered a bug that allowed them to disable the mission timer by having two players simultaneously attempt to drill into the casinos vault. This significantly lowered the difficulty level enabling players to earn rewards without time constraints.
