Gorilla Tag, the VR multiplayer game thats free to play has hit a milestone with, over 1 million active users daily and more than 3 million players every month. Developed by Another Axiom this game has captured the hearts of VR fans globally providing an unique gaming experience that keeps players hooked.
During a talk at AWE 2024 the team behind Gorilla Tag revealed some numbers. Apart from the monthly user counts the game has attracted over 10 million players since its launch. Fans of the game spend an average of an hour, per gaming session fully immersing themselves in the world of Gorilla Tag.
Gorilla Tag’s Monumental Financial Success

Gorilla Tag has not captured an audience but has also seen considerable financial success. It was first introduced in access, in 2021. Managed to earn $26 million on the App Lab before making its way to the main Quest Store in late 2022. In a chat Another Axiom shared that Gorilla Tags revenue has now exceeded a $100 million.
The games popularity is evident from its achievement of being the Quest Store game to receive 100,000 user reviews. Currently Gorilla Tag has a 115,000 reviews establishing itself as a favorite among VR enthusiasts. Despite the decision to remove the game from Quest 1 players, with existing Quest 1 devices can still enjoy playing it as they always have.
