The process of changing your Destiny 2 character appearance is simple. When you start up Destiny 2 you’ll notice a feature, on the character selection screen. This update gives players the ability to customize their characters appearance, including body type, facial features, hair/head style and markings. However it’s worth mentioning that switching between origins (Human, Exo or Awoken) is not allowed.

In a blog post by Bungie they describe the update in a way; “Have you ever made an Awoken character during your teenage years?. Perhaps you regretted some of the markings on your Human? Maybe your Guardians body type no longer reflects who you are. Now you have the freedom to modify your Guardians appearance without any cost or restrictions, on the number of changes.”

Furthermore Bungie will also be resetting the Synthweave bounty cap in a March update to provide customization options. This decision aligns with Bungies dedication to allowing players to refine or redefine their Guardians and add a touch to their gaming experience.
