After going dark for over a year, developer Supertrick Games has lifted the veil on their plans for the Deathverse Let It Die Remake. In a new developer diary, director Hideyuki Shin confirmed the remake will take heavy inspiration from their previous cult hit Let It Die while modernizing the experience.

Shin stated the goal is to please both Deathverse and Let It Die fans by combining the best of both worlds. Players can look forward to the deep exploration and character building of Let It Die along with improved PvP modes. The ratio of new to familiar content is said to be around a 7:3 or 8:2 split in favor of Let It Die elements.
