Cult of the Lamb Introduces Local Co-op Mode

Cult of the Lamb adds local co-op in the upcoming "Unholy Alliance" update.

The anticipated update, for Cult of the Lamb the action adventure game is on its way! Players will soon be able to team up with a friend and embark on the campaign thanks to the Unholy Alliance” update from Devolver Digital. This new local co op mode will bring a twist to the gameplay allowing two players to join forces and face challenges side by side. Additionally players can look forward to playing as a character called The Goat.

Scheduled for release on August 12 the “Unholy Alliance” update will be accessible for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch users. With this update players can enjoy swapping weapons with their partner dealing damage in tandem combat situations and executing synchronized attacks for hits. Moreover multiplayer versions of knucklebones and fishing minigames have been added to enhance the co experience, with more fun activities.

The “Unholy Alliance” update, for Cult of the Lamb puts an emphasis on introducing co op gameplay but it also brings new elements for solo players. Apart from adding features like powers, abilities, tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, follower traits and quests for wolves the update ensures that there are hidden surprises waiting to be uncovered by both adventurers and co op enthusiasts.

Even though the co op mode in Cult of the Lamb is currently limited to play and lacks multiplayer options, including this feature reflects the developers dedication to responding to fan input and expanding the games horizons. With the “Unholy Alliance” update launching two years after the games debut it showcases support and a commitment, to providing fresh experiences for its loyal player community.
