Aero GPX: F-Zero-Inspired Racer Launches in Early Access

Aero GPX, an F-Zero-inspired racer, is now available in Early Access on PC.

Aaron McDevitt, a developer has recently launched his Kickstarter project, Aero GPX on Early Access, for PC on Steam. This futuristic anti gravity racing game is heavily inspired by Nintendos F Zero series, F Zero X and F Zero GX. Aero GPX seeks to capture the essence of these timeless classics while adding its touch.

Apart, from F Zero Aero GPX also draws inspiration from Nintendo games. The games upbeat and arcade like summer atmosphere brings to mind Wave Race 64 and its easy to learn gameplay is reminiscent of Kirby Air Ride. These influences blend together to offer an user racing experience.

Potential Switch Release and Demo Availability

While Aero GPX is currently exclusive to PC there are discussions, about a release on the Nintendo Switch. The developer recognizes that the game would be a fit for Nintendos console as much as it is for PCs. Now the primary focus remains on the PC launch. They are open to exploring other platforms based on how well the Kickstarter campaign performs.

For those in trying out Aero GPX before making a purchase there’s a demo on Steam alongside the Early Access version. The demo allows players to dive into the games speed, gravity defying racing action firsthand. Boasting 15 tracks, 15 machines/pilots and a comprehensive Career mode Aero GPX aims to provide an feature packed racing experience, for enthusiasts of this genre.
